Zera Yacobs is an Ethiopian philosopher who was believed to be a rationalist philosopher that developed his theories while in hiding. Yacobs believe in the “supremacy of reason” and argued against slavery and established inequalities in religious doctrines. (Herbjornsrud, D.,)
